Oregon Coast Community College can help you stay on track – earn your transfer degree from home. OCCC will offer safe, socially-distanced opportunities throughout the school year for student gatherings and activities. Your academic advisors and instructors are here on the coast, able to assist you and meet with you one-on-one via Zoom at your request. OCCC also offers safe, clean study spaces with robust Internet access available to students weekdays throughout the term. The College can also provide hardware such as Chromebooks for those students who lack equipment necessary to study from home. College locations offer safe spaces for small student study groups to gather to prepare for assignments and exams. Check with Student Services for details.
Fall Term 2020 courses will largely be delivered via live-stream. Some will be offered in more traditional online formats, while still other classes (including science lab courses) will be delivered in hybrid format, with some on-campus work. Face coverings will be provided students who lack their own and strict social distancing and other safety protocols will be enforced to ensure a supportive, healthy, and enjoyable learning environment.
