I’m Adam Springer and I’ve been an attorney in Newport since 2011.
As a general practitioner with an emphasis on trial advocacy, I represent clients in a multitude of areas. I have enjoyed success trying civil and criminal cases to both judges and juries. I’ve also had the pleasure of representing countless small businesses as well as government entities such as the Port of Toledo with a variety of legal issues.
I take pride in my work, combining a strong work ethic with intelligence and integrity to provide excellent representation and value to my clients. I make a point of offering completely candid advice designed to fully inform clients of their options and the risks and expenses associated with each course of action. Prior to going to law school, I spent two years playing poker professionally, and I use that invaluable experience of evaluating risk vs. reward under pressure in the courtroom and at the negotiating table to obtain results for my clients.
Before starting my own practice in February 2014, I worked for the Newport law firm of Macpherson, Gintner & Diaz, where I spent three years as an associate attorney representing public entities such as Central Lincoln P.U.D., Lincoln County School District, and the Port of Newport as well as litigating civil cases. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon in December of 2010 and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in finance from the University of Iowa in 2008.
As a Newport resident, I enjoy taking advantage of the opportunities I never had growing up in Iowa- two of my favorites are deep sea fishing and surfing. I also enjoy riding motorcycles and am an avid sports enthusiast.
