Oregon Coast Community College’s Central County Campus, in Newport, is sporting a new roof – the first project funded by proceeds from the May 2024 bond – a roofing replacement project which reached substantial completion ahead of schedule and came in well under budget. It’s a good thing, too, as this summer term’s students blew the roof off with exceptional academic performance. Many of those amazing students are found on the lists below – the College’s Honors, Dean’s, and President’s lists of those earning above a 3.25 GPA for the summer term. To be eligible, students must have completed a minimum of six graded credits during the term and have met the GPA requirements for the given level of honors.
