Fall 2026 Community Education Registration
Registration for Oregon Coast Community College’s Fall 2026 community education classes opens Monday morning at oregoncoast.edu/communityed — no need to wait for the mail. The full print lineup, Catch the Wave, will land in mailboxes across Lincoln County around August 25.
This fall’s catalog spans dozens of classes across Newport, Lincoln City, Toledo, and Waldport, taught by local experts and enthusiasts. A few highlights:
- Learn the centuries-old Japanese art of fish printing in Gyotaku
- Try joyful Irish social dancing in Irish Ceili Dancing for Adults — no partner or experience required
- Sharpen your business skills with QuickBooks, Excel, or digital marketing through the Small Business Development Center
- Stay active with ongoing Parks & Recreation partner classes in Newport and Lincoln City, from water aerobics to yoga
- Prep for licensure with courses like Property Manager’s License Prep and Real Estate Broker’s License Test Prep
- Slow down with a cup of something new in Tea 101 and Coffee 101
- Get hands-on with Beginning Knitting or Whimsical Garden Sculptures, or paint with Georgina Nielsen (see image, on the home page)
