Oregon Coast Community College now uses FlashAlert, a free-to-students-and-staff system for delivering changes in schedule (such as snow closures), and other news, to students, employees, and the news media.
Emergency Closure/Inclement Weather Information
In the event of a full or partial-day closure due to emergency closure/inclement weather, the college will provide information as soon as possible. FlashAlert, Facebook, and the college website will provide detailed information.
Lincoln county is a large county with varying weather conditions, if you feel that it would be unsafe to travel to work due to weather conditions, students should contact their instructors via Canvas or email, and employees should email or phone their supervisors.
