Office of Engagement

Engaging with Lincoln County

The OCCC Office of Engagement bears chief responsibility for ensuring that the College remains tightly connected with the Lincoln County community. The Office oversees the operation and programming at the College’s North County Center in Lincoln City, along with the following:

Community Education

Each year, around 2,000 Lincoln County residents participate in OCCC’s rich lineup of noncredit community education courses, offered county-wide and covering a range of subject matter, from hiking to marine biology, and from mosaic art to singing sea shanties.

Peruse the Community Ed lineup and learn how you can participate as an instructor.

The OCCC Small Business Development Center

For nearly 40 years, the OCCC Small Business Development Center has accomplished its mission of delivering robust, confidential, no-cost business advising to any business owner in Lincoln County — or anyone considering starting a business here. The SBDC works with more than 250 business owners each year, from across Lincoln County.
