As we start the final month of the 2023 long legislative session, all eyes are on the Capitol. Confused about just exactly what’s happening in Salem? Attend the next video town hall presented by Oregon Coast Community College, live via Zoom. The event runs 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, June 2.
For the past eight years, Oregon Coast Community College and its Small Business Development Center have hosted live video town hall meetings between Lincoln County residents and their elected officials in Salem. The event, live via Zoom, will feature State Senator Dick Anderson (R – Lincoln City) and State Representative David Gomberg (D – Otis). Watch the Oregon Coast Community College Facebook page (@occcsharks) and website (oregoncoast.edu) for any announcement about whether one or both legislator might be available to join us live, in person, in the College’s North County Center in Lincoln City. Otherwise, the Zoom broadcast will remain the only option to participate.
Throughout every full-length legislative term for almost the last decade, Lincoln County residents have been able to meet regularly with their representatives, live via video conference from Oregon Coast Community College’s facilities. The last town halls were held March 17 and April 14.
Sen. Anderson and Rep. Gomberg will take your questions, live, during the event.
