Empanadas y vino
Students will learn to prepare savory, Chilean-style empanadas from scratch – and, enjoy them with a glass of Chilean wine. The course will be taught bilingually in Spanish and English, allowing participants to practice their Spanish as much as they want. Participants will use guessing to interpret a foreign language and, by the end of the day, be able to name the empanada ingredients in Spanish.

10:30 Class begins, meet & greet
10:45 A little about empanadas
11:00 Make dough and filling
Noon Take a break while dough and filling rest and cool
(lunch on your own–eat something light!)
1:30 Put empanadas together
2:00 Bake, eat, and drink
