Learn basic electrical theory in this course. Explore residential electrical service, wiring methods, load calculations, troubleshooting and repair. There will be hands-on installation of receptacles, lighting outlets, and switches. Participants will also learn about national electric codes, permits and inspections. At the end of this class, you will have a working knowledge of electricity useful to homeowners or renters, electrical safety … and you’ll know when it’s time to call an electrician.
