P.E.O. Chapter CE of Newport donates money for Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC) scholarships to be awarded to women who have graduated from Newport, Toledo or Waldport Oregon High Schools.  Our goal is to support women in continuing their education after high school. These scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, financial need, and the candidate’s plans for use of her education after graduation. 

 

The application for spring term help 2025 is due January 10, 2025.  Applications should be complete and be sent to peochaptercenewport@gmail.com. 

 

For second year students who intend to pursue further education at an Oregon four year college or university in fall term 2025, additional aid from Oregon State PEO may be available.  Due dates for State Applications are March 1, 2025.  IF first year Oregon Coast Community College students are attending OCCC some time after their high school degree, there may be State help for their second year at OCCC.  These applications will be due February 1, 2025.  Questions may be addressed to Sydney Hatch, 775-990-4500.
