CCB License Prep & Exam … in One!

This class will prepare students to qualify for and successfully pass the Construction Contractors Board (CCB) exam required for contractor certification in Oregon. The class is taught by a certified CCB education provider and fulfills the CCB pre-exam educational requirement as stipulated by Oregon regulations. The course is unique in that participants will learn the material and take the test over the same two days. There is no textbook to purchase. Please bring a sack lunch each day.

Continuing Education Opportunities for CCB Holders

Excavation Safety

All workers, employers, and supervisors whose jobs require them to be near excavation and trenching work will benefit from this informative one-hour course. This course goes a step beyond the basic health and safety requirements that OSHA demands and specifically focuses on the issues that occur on excavation sites every day. You’ll learn the meanings of excavation terminology, be able to identify excavation risks, and have the knowledge to help prevent occupational injuries after completing the program.

How to Start a Food Business

Are you ready to create a new food business? Or are you looking to fine-tune and update your existing operation’s business model? This workshop is tailored to food-service start-up enterprises, whether yours is a food truck, a catering company, or sells at farmer’s markets. You could operate a bakery, a tavern, or a fast-casual or fine-dining restaurant. We will work together on your business model to include the basics on branding, writing a marketing plan, determining the feasibility of success, and establishing a financial foundation for success and growth.
