CCB License Prep & Exam … in One!

This class will prepare students to qualify for and successfully pass the Construction Contractors Board (CCB) exam required for contractor certification in Oregon. The class is taught by a certified CCB education provider and fulfills the CCB pre-exam educational requirement as stipulated by Oregon regulations. The course is unique in that participants will learn the material and take the test over the same two days. There is no textbook to purchase. Please bring a sack lunch each day.

Excavation Safety

All workers, employers, and supervisors whose jobs require them to be near excavation and trenching work will benefit from this informative one-hour course. This course goes a step beyond the basic health and safety requirements that OSHA demands and specifically focuses on the issues that occur on excavation sites every day. You’ll learn the meanings of excavation terminology, be able to identify excavation risks, and have the knowledge to help prevent occupational injuries after completing the program.

Non-Traditional Funding

In this workshop, led by Oregon Coast SBDC Director Gregory Price, you’ll learn about different sources of capital for pre-venture and existing businesses. Participants will explore what lenders are looking for when qualifying loans, and how business owners can best position themselves for funding.
