Healthcare Occupations Day Feb. 26
January 30, 2026

Classes offered March 5 & 6
or choose June 4 & 5
This intensive two-day course is designed to prepare aspiring contractors to qualify for—and successfully pass—the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) exam, a required step for becoming a licensed contractor in the state of Oregon. The CCB license is more than a formality: it exists to protect consumers, ensure contractors understand state laws and safety standards, and promote professionalism and accountability across the construction industry. Holding a valid CCB license is legally required for most construction work in Oregon and is often necessary to bid on projects, obtain permits, secure insurance, and build trust with clients.
The course is taught by a certified CCB education provider and fulfills the mandatory pre-exam education requirement established by the State of Oregon. Participants will learn key concepts related to business practices, contracts, liens, labor and employment rules, safety requirements, and Oregon construction law—material that is directly tested on the CCB exam and essential for operating a compliant and successful construction business.
What sets this course apart is its streamlined, all-in-one format. Participants both learn the required material and take the official CCB exam during the same two-day session, eliminating the need for separate prep courses or additional testing appointments. There is no textbook to purchase, and lunch is provided on both days, allowing participants to focus fully on the material and the exam experience.
Two sessions of this course are offered, making it an efficient and practical option for individuals ready to take the next step toward contractor certification and doing business legally and confidently in Oregon.
