Healthcare Occupations Day Returns to OCCC on February 26

Lincoln County high school juniors and seniors interested in exploring careers in health care are invited to participate in Healthcare Occupations Day at Oregon Coast Community College’s Central Campus in Newport. The event will take place on Thursday, February 26, from 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and includes lunch.

This immersive, hands-on event is designed to introduce students to the diverse and growing field of health care. Participants will hear directly from local professionals during a panel discussion, engage in interactive activities in OCCC’s Nursing and Allied Health skills lab, and learn more about educational and career pathways in the industry.

Space is limited and participation is restricted to current juniors and seniors attending Lincoln County School District high schools. Students who are interested in attending should express their interest to their school counselor or college and career coordinator as soon as possible.
