Tuesday, Jan. 14 – Newport
Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC) invites students and their families to explore exciting transfer opportunities at “Oregon Transfer Days” on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at OCCC’s Central County Campus in Newport. This event will connect attendees with representatives from Oregon’s four-year public and private colleges and universities. Schools confirmed to attend include:
- Bushnell University
- Eastern Oregon University
- Grand Canyon University
- National University of Natural Medicine
- Oregon Institute of Technology
- Oregon State University
- Pacific University
- Portland State University
- Roseman University of Health Sciences – College of Nursing
- University of Oregon
- Western Oregon University
The event is designed to help students navigate the transition from OCCC to a bachelor’s degree program. Representatives will provide insights on admissions, transfer processes, and financial aid, empowering students to plan their academic journeys with confidence.
Starting at OCCC offers numerous benefits: students can complete the first two years of their four-year degree close to home, saving thousands of dollars on tuition and living expenses while adapting to the academic rigor of college life in a supportive environment.
“Transfer degrees are a cornerstone of what we offer at OCCC,” said Dave Price, VP of Engagement. “This event showcases how we support students in achieving their educational goals while making higher education affordable and accessible.”
Whether your goal is to graduate from the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, or Western Oregon University—or another institution—OCCC is your launchpad for success.
