OCCC will maintain a system for the classification of all regular positions. Included in that system will be a pay plan consisting of ranges and steps. Positions will be surveyed and studied as needed to ensure that they are classified correctly.
OCCC will maintain job descriptions for each position. Each employee will receive a copy of his/her job description. Job descriptions may be updated and/or modified at any time to reflect major changes in position responsibilities.
