Oregon Coast Community College Welcomes Incoming President Marshall Mease Roache

Today marks the first official day for Marshall Mease Roache at Oregon Coast Community College. As the incoming president, Roache joins OCCC today and will work alongside current President Dr. Birgitte Ryslinge through January 1, 2025, at which time Roache will officially step into his role as OCCC president.

Roache’s first day will include attending tonight’s regular meeting of the OCCC Board of Education, held at 6 p.m. at the College’s North County Center in Lincoln City. The meeting agenda includes an update from Integrity Management Solutions, the College’s Project Management firm, on the ongoing trades education facility bond project. The Board will also hear from Dean of Allied Health Dr. Crystal Bowman and Vice President for Engagement Dave Price, as well as reports about last week’s Oregon Community College Association Annual meeting and more.
