Transfer Programs

This page contains important information for students intending to transfer to complete a bachelor’s degree. To view a degree checklist for a transfer program, please visit the advising page.

Oregon Coast offers the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT), the Associate of Science Oregon Transfer in Business (ASOT) and the Oregon Transfer Module (OTM), as well as individual courses for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs.  Through careful planning and the proper selection of courses, students can customize the AAOT to best fit their individual needs. Ninety (90) credits are required for the AAOT; some suggested educational guidelines may contain more credits. Up to 124 credits may transfer to an Oregon public university. Transfer students are advised to note that the AAOT is not recommended for all areas of concentration.

Transfer Plans

Students are responsible for consulting the college or university of transfer regarding current program and transfer requirements. Many colleges have specific program admission requirements. These may include a minimum GPA (grade point average), completion of specific courses, and deadlines for admission. Students are responsible for learning the program requirements of the college or university to which they plan to transfer. Consult with an OCCC Student Services advising specialist or an OCCC faculty advisor. Students should also make early contact with an advisor at the institution to which they plan to transfer to learn more about specific requirements or any possible changes in a program.
