Update on Upcoming Lincoln County Grant

At their regular meeting at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, Lincoln County Commissioners will review a proposed application for close to $900,000 the county will distribute through grants to small businesses from throughout the county.

If the application is approved, it could be posted as early as Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Tentative plans are for the application to be posted for most of that week, closing at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. Local businesses can complete an application 24 hours a day from the moment it is posted until the Friday evening deadline.

The applications will be reviewed by a committee and scored on various eligibility criteria, and ultimately distributed until funds are fully expended.

Successful grant applicants will receive notification from Northwest Oregon Works, a nonprofit organization that invests federal and state funds into the workforce systems of Lincoln and other counties.
