$1,000 Scholarship Opportunity for OCCC Women Students

Newport, OR — Oregon Coast Community College students may now apply for a $1,000 scholarship made possible by Chapter EO of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization of women supporting educational opportunities for women worldwide.

The Chapter EO, P.E.O. 2025 Scholarship is open to women who are Lincoln County residents, have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at OCCC, and will be enrolled full-time at the College during Fall Term 2025. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic achievement, service to school and/or community, and future goals. In addition to completing the online application, students must submit unofficial transcripts and two letters of recommendation — one from an instructor or professional, and one from a non-relative adult.

The application deadline is May 30, 2025, and the recipient will be notified by June 10.
